Business ultrabook with touch display

The Dell Latitude E7440 is a 14.0 inch business ultrabook running Windows 10 Pro. It uses a 1.9 GHz Intel Core i5-4300U dual-core processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400. The system includes 16GB of DDR3 memory configured as 8 GB x 2 and a 2.5 inch 1TB SATA hard drive. The 1920 x 1080 touchscreen supports direct input for presentations and annotating documents.

Professionals needing touch and legacy ports

This suits professionals who need a touchscreen for signing, sketching or presenting on the move and who rely on the built-in VGA and HDMI outputs for older projectors. It also fits IT teams standardising on Windows 10 Pro with a traditional hard drive image. Buyers who want solid-state speed, a lighter chassis or a newer processor generation should look at something else.

16GB DDR3 soldered limit

The 16GB DDR3 memory is installed as two 8 GB SODIMM modules and represents the maximum capacity this platform supports. No additional memory can be added beyond this configuration. Confirm that 16GB meets your workload before purchase.
