Business ultrabook with dual SSD storage

The Dell Latitude E7440 is a 14-inch touchscreen ultrabook aimed at professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro machine for daily office work. It combines a 4th Generation Intel Core i5-4300U dual-core processor with 8 GB of DDR3 memory to handle typical productivity tasks.

Simple memory layout but no internal expansion

The system ships with two 4 GB DDR3 SODIMM modules already installed, so there are no free slots for adding more memory without replacing the existing pair. Storage uses a 256 GB mSATA SSD for the operating system plus a 2.5-inch 1 TB SSD for data, both of which are user-accessible after removing the base cover.

Check your DDR3 module compatibility and port needs

Before ordering, verify that any replacement memory you may want later matches the DDR3 SODIMM specification used here. The laptop provides HDMI and VGA video outputs, so confirm your external monitors accept one of those connections. Touchscreen drivers are included with the pre-installed Windows 10 Pro image.
