Dell Latitude E7450 12" laptop

This Dell Latitude E7450 is a 12.0" laptop with an Intel Core i5 5th Gen processor running at 2.90 GHz. It comes with 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 128GB SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is installed and ready to use.

Suits mobile workers needing a compact Windows

The 4GB of memory and dual-core processor handle office applications and web browsing. Buyers who want more memory capacity or a larger display should consider other options. The integrated graphics are not intended for demanding 3D workloads.

128GB SSD storage capacity

The solid-state drive provides 128GB of space for the operating system and files. This capacity fits a streamlined software load but leaves little room for large media libraries or multiple virtual machines.

Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise should I expect from the 2.90 GHz Intel Core i5 5th Gen when the laptop runs all day?

The dual-core 2.90 GHz processor and 4 GB of DDR3 memory draw modest power, so the cooling fan stays quiet during typical office workloads and only spins up briefly under sustained heavy load.

Which peripherals or cables do I need to provide myself before this Latitude E7450 can connect to a network or external display?

The unit includes 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN and Bluetooth, so no extra adapter is required for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; video output and additional USB ports rely on the built-in connectors already present on the chassis.

Will my existing DDR3 SODIMM modules work alongside the 4 GB already installed to reach the 16 GB maximum?

Yes, the system has two DDR3 slots supporting up to 16 GB total, so you can add compatible DDR3 SODIMMs to the free slot or replace the original module for a full upgrade.
