Compact 14-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7450 is a slim 14.0-inch laptop built for professionals who travel or meet clients. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor at 2.3 GHz with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 256 GB SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 drives the 1366 x 768 HD non-touch display.

Connectivity and display limits

Three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port and one mini DisplayPort handle external monitors and peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11n wireless provide wired and wireless networking. The HD panel tops out at 1366 x 768 resolution, so detailed multi-window work or high-DPI content will feel cramped on the 14-inch screen.

Memory, storage and workload headroom

The 8 GB of DDR3 memory can be expanded to 16 GB, giving headroom for heavier multitasking. The 256 GB SSD delivers fast boot and application loading while preserving battery life. Buyers who want more storage or discrete graphics for demanding creative or engineering applications will need a different system.
