Dell Latitude E7450 business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7450 is a 14.0-inch business laptop with a 1366 x 768 display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-5600U processor at 2.6 GHz with 12 GB of DDR3 memory. A 512 GB SSD provides storage and Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed. The chassis is black and includes a DVD+R/RW optical drive.

Condition and target user

This unit is graded cosmetic condition B with light wear and a small half-inch crack on the palm rest. It suits buyers who accept visible imperfections for a lower cost and need a ready-to-run Windows 10 machine. Buyers who want a pristine exterior or a higher-resolution screen should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The 1366 x 768 resolution on a 14.0-inch panel is the single specification that decides suitability. Text and images will appear less sharp than on higher-density displays, so confirm this resolution meets your daily workflow before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What operating system must I already have a licence for if I want to reinstall it on this Latitude E7450?

The laptop ships with Windows 10 Pro already installed and activated, so no separate licence is needed for a clean reinstall of that edition.

Can I keep using my existing DDR3 SO-DIMM modules to expand the 12 GB already fitted?

The system uses DDR3 memory; the 12 GB installed occupies the available slots, so additional modules would require replacing the existing ones rather than adding to them.

How can I verify the Intel HD graphics are running at the native 1366 x 768 resolution after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and confirm the resolution slider shows 1366 x 768 as the recommended setting for the 14.0-inch panel.
