DELL Latitude E7470 14" FHD laptop i7-6650U 16GB 500GB SSD

14-inch FHD business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch full-HD notebook powered by an Intel Core i7-6650U dual-core processor running at 2.20 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a new 500 GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. The integrated Intel Iris Graphics 540 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. No operating system is included.

Upgrade from slower storage or less memory

Replacing a mechanical hard drive with the new 500 GB SSD cuts boot and application load times dramatically. The factory-fitted 16 GB DDR4 fills both memory slots and reaches the platform maximum of 16 GB, so the jump is worthwhile when the current machine stalls on multitasking or large spreadsheets. The 6th-generation Core i7 provides a noticeable step up from earlier dual-core ultrabook CPUs.

Mobile professionals needing a ready-to-deploy

This configuration suits buyers who want a compact 14 inch business chassis with a fresh SSD and maximum supported memory out of the box. It is not for users who require a pre-installed Windows licence, a touchscreen, discrete graphics or storage capacity beyond 500 GB. Builders needing additional drive bays or expandable memory past the 16 GB ceiling should look elsewhere.
