Target user

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0" FHD laptop built for professionals who need a compact Windows 10 machine with a dual-core i7-6650U processor, 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. It suits mobile workers handling office applications, web workloads and video calls via the integrated webcam.

Limits

Buyers who want a touchscreen, discrete graphics or more than 16 GB of memory should look elsewhere. The non-touch 1920 x 1080 panel and Intel Iris Graphics 540 restrict creative workflows, while the two memory slots cap total RAM at 16 GB.

Storage decider

The single specification that decides fit is the 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, which provides high-speed solid-state capacity for the operating system and data without any mechanical hard drive.
