Latitude E7470 14" FHD Business Laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14-inch business laptop with a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-6650U dual-core processor with a base frequency of 2.20 GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.40 GHz. The system includes 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed.

Suited For Mobile Professionals Not Heavy Workloads

This laptop suits professionals needing a portable 14-inch device with a large 2TB solid-state drive for local files. The dual-core processor and 8GB memory handle office applications and web browsing well. Buyers who need more than 16GB of RAM or a dedicated graphics card for intensive rendering should look elsewhere.

2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Storage Decides Fit

The single specification that decides fit is the 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. It provides substantial high-speed storage for large project files and applications in a compact form factor. If your workflow requires more than 2TB of internal capacity or a different drive interface, this unit will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How does the 3.40 GHz turbo frequency behave under sustained workloads?

The dual-core i7-6650U can reach 3.40 GHz on short bursts; actual speeds depend on thermal limits and power management in the 14.0" chassis.

What does the M.2 NVMe PCIe interface mean for the 2TB SSD in daily use?

The PCIe link lets the 2 TB drive operate at NVMe speeds, cutting boot and application load times versus older storage types.

Can the 8 GB DDR4 be expanded inside the Latitude E7470?

Two memory slots are fitted and the board supports up to 16 GB, so an 8 GB module can be added for the maximum capacity.
