Target User

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for professionals who travel or meet clients regularly. It runs Windows 10 Home on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor with 32GB DDR4 memory. The 256GB M.2 SSD provides fast storage for documents and applications. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 handles everyday visual tasks.

Physical Setup

The unit arrives as a complete laptop with charger and battery included so no internal assembly is required. Simply connect the power adapter and press the power button to begin the Windows 10 setup process. The non-touch HD display eliminates calibration steps. All ports including HDMI, mini DisplayPort, three USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet are accessible immediately for peripherals or external displays.

Deciding Specification

The 32GB DDR4 memory matches the maximum memory supported by this platform so the system cannot accept further upgrades. Buyers who anticipate heavier multitasking or virtualisation workloads in the future should consider this ceiling before purchasing. The fixed 256GB M.2 SSD also defines the total internal storage available without external drives.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Intel Core i7-6600U and Intel HD Graphics 520 are running correctly after setup?
