14" FHD business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch Full HD laptop built around an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a new 128GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Pre-installed Windows 10 Home

The operating system is ready to use immediately after first boot. No separate licence purchase or installation media is required. The 128GB SSD provides the system drive and the 16GB DDR4 fills both memory slots.

Dual-core CPU and maxed memory

The i7-6600U is a dual-core processor with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. Memory is already at the 16GB maximum supported by the platform, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. Buyers who want more storage or a quad-core processor should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Will the 128GB 2.5" SATA SSD need replacing if I need more space?

Yes, the 128GB 2.5" SATA SSD can be swapped for a larger 2.5" SATA drive when you need more capacity.

What hits its ceiling first when the Intel Core i7-6600U runs at 3.40 GHz for long periods?

The Intel HD Graphics 520 thermal limit is reached before the CPU throttles under sustained heavy load.

How loud does the fan get when the 14.0" FHD panel and i7-6600U run all day?

The dual-core processor stays cool enough that fan noise remains low during typical all-day office use.
