Latitude E7470 14" HD laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0-inch HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor at 2.60 GHz with 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It comes with 16GB DDR4 memory and a new 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. No operating system is installed.

Suitable for OS-flexible deployments

This laptop suits buyers who want to install their own Windows or Linux distribution on a business-grade chassis with 1366 x 768 display and Intel HD Graphics 520. It is not for users who need a pre-loaded OS, a touchscreen panel, a higher-resolution screen, or discrete graphics for intensive 3D workloads.

No bundled accessories or software

The unit ships without an operating system, so the buyer must acquire and install one separately. No additional accessories or software packages are included beyond the laptop, its integrated webcam, Bluetooth, and the pre-installed 1TB NVMe SSD.

Questions about this item

What operating system must I supply for the Latitude E7470 to boot?

The laptop ships with no operating system installed, so you must provide and install your own Windows or Linux image before it will start.

Will my existing DDR4 SO-DIMM modules work alongside the soldered memory in this E7470?

The 16 GB of DDR4 is already at the 16 GB maximum supported, and both slots are populated, so there is no free slot for additional modules.

How can I verify the Intel HD Graphics 520 is active after I install the OS?

Open Device Manager and confirm Intel HD Graphics 520 appears under Display adapters with no error code.
