DELL Latitude E7470 laptop Core i5-6300U 2.4GHz 8GB DDR4 256GB 14" FHD

Latitude E7470 14-inch business laptop

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch laptop built around a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor with 3 MB L2 cache. It ships with 8 GB DDR4 memory, a 256 GB M.2 solid-state drive and Windows 10 Pro. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. Connectivity includes three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, mini DisplayPort, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 wireless, an SD card reader and a charger.

Mobile professionals needing legacy OS and ports

This unit suits people who require Windows 10 Pro, a full-size HDMI port and a mini DisplayPort for projectors or external monitors while travelling. The 8 GB memory ceiling and integrated graphics make it unsuitable for buyers who want more memory than 32 GB maximum support allows, for creators who need discrete GPU performance or for anyone requiring a built-in webcam for video calls.

256 GB SSD and 8 GB RAM for office workloads

The 256 GB drive provides fast boot and application loading for typical productivity suites and web-based tools. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 handles multi-tab browsing and document editing comfortably, while the 32 GB ceiling gives headroom for a future memory upgrade. Demanding workloads such as video editing, 3D rendering or large dataset analysis will run out of GPU power and storage space quickly.
