Business laptop with 14 inch display

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a 14.0 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.6 GHz. It comes with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch screen and integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 suit office work and travel. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Sustained performance with integrated graphics

The dual-core Skylake processor handles typical business workloads such as document editing, web browsing and video conferencing without fan noise becoming intrusive. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 shares system memory, so extended 3D tasks or heavy rendering will throttle quickly. The NVMe PCIe SSD keeps boot and application launches responsive during long sessions.

Straightforward setup with Grade B cosmetic wear

The unit ships with charger and battery included, so initial setup only requires connecting power and completing the Windows 10 Pro first-run experience. Grade B LCD condition means the screen or chassis may show scratches, worn keys or touchpad wear that do not affect function. Buyers who need a pristine cosmetic appearance or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Core i7-6600U get under continuous load?

The dual-core 2.6 GHz processor with Intel HD Graphics 520 runs inside a slim 14" chassis; typical office workloads stay quiet and warm rather than hot.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to use the video outputs?

One full-size HDMI and one mini DisplayPort are built in — bring the matching cable or adapter for your monitor or projector.

Can the 8 GB DDR4 and 256 GB NVMe drive work with my older USB 3.0 dock?

Yes — three USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and an SD card reader provide legacy dock compatibility while the internal NVMe PCIe SSD handles the OS.
