Business-ready 14-inch Latitude

The Dell Latitude E7470 is a compact business laptop built around a dual-core Intel Core i7-6600U processor. It ships with Windows 10 Pro, 8GB of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. The 14.0-inch non-touch display delivers a 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution for clear document work and video calls.

Durable chassis with essential ports

The grey chassis follows the Latitude line's professional design language and includes an integrated webcam and touchpad for daily productivity. Wireless connectivity covers 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while the integrated graphics handle standard office applications and external displays without a discrete card.

Dual-core turbo to 3.40 GHz

The i7-6600U runs at a 2.6 GHz base clock and reaches 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost across its two cores. This level of performance suits single-threaded business tasks and light multitasking, but buyers who need more cores for heavy compilation or virtualisation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What does the 802.11ac wireless LAN standard cap in practice?

The 802.11ac wireless LAN supports typical real-world throughput up to several hundred megabits per second, limited by router capability, channel width and interference.

What are the physical dimensions of the 14.0 inch FHD display assembly for mounting or replacement?

The 14.0 inch non-touch FHD panel uses a standard 1920 x 1080 30-pin eDP connector and slim bezel form factor common to the Latitude E7470 chassis.

How is the 256GB SSD installed and what step do people often miss?

The 256GB SSD fits the internal M.2 slot; the step often missed is enabling the drive in the BIOS after physical installation before the Windows 10 Pro setup detects it.
