Its carbon-fibre-reinforced lid and magnesium chassis meet MIL-STD 810G tests for temperature, altitude, humidity and vibration. Connectivity and security for the field

Three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort let you attach peripherals and external monitors without adapters. Gigabit Ethernet and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 provide wired and wireless network access. An SD card reader, SIM slot, fingerprint reader and 1080p webcam support mobile workflows and secure sign-in.

Integrated graphics and efficient power

Intel HD Graphics 520 uses shared system memory to drive the 1920 x 1080 LED-backlit panel and external displays. The 14.0" non-touch FHD screen keeps power draw low, contributing to the long battery life Lenovo highlights for all-day mobility. Questions about this item

What speed does the NVMe PCIe interface allow the 256 GB SSD to reach?

The 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD provides much faster data transfer than a traditional hard drive, reducing boot and application load times.

What physical slot and size does the SSD use so I can confirm it fits?

The drive uses an M.2 form factor that plugs directly into the motherboard slot inside the chassis.

What steps are needed to install Windows on the NVMe drive and which step is often missed?

Boot from a Windows 10 Pro installation USB, select the 256 GB NVMe drive as the target, and ensure the BIOS is set to UEFI mode so the installer recognises the drive.
