Questions about this item

Will the Intel Core i7-6600U throttle under sustained heavy workloads?

The dual-core processor reaches 3.40 GHz turbo but will reduce speed when thermal limits are reached during prolonged heavy loads.

How loud does the cooling fan get when the laptop runs all day?

The Intel HD Graphics 520 and low-power CPU keep heat output modest, so fan noise remains low during typical business use.

What memory modules must I already have to reach the 16 GB maximum?

The board has two DDR4 slots and supports up to 16 GB total, so you need compatible DDR4 SO-DIMMs to upgrade beyond the installed 8 GB.
