Genuine Dell Latitude E7470 Palmrest

This genuine Dell palmrest with integrated touchpad is designed specifically for the Latitude E7470 laptop. It replaces a worn or damaged original part to restore the factory look and feel. The black finish matches the chassis colour. Buyers repairing other Dell models or different Latitude generations cannot use this part.

Direct replacement install

The palmrest aligns with the existing screw points and cable connectors on the Latitude E7470, so no modifications are required. Care must be taken when disconnecting and reconnecting the delicate touchpad ribbon cable to avoid tearing it. Builders unfamiliar with laptop disassembly may prefer professional fitting.

Restores full touchpad function

The assembly includes the touchpad module and buttons, providing the same cursor control and multi-touch gestures as the original equipment. It does not add features such as a fingerprint reader or smart-card slot if the original system lacked them. The part addresses physical wear but cannot fix software driver issues.
