14-inch QHD touchscreen Ultrabook

The Dell Latitude E7470 delivers a 2560 x 1440 touchscreen in a 14.0-inch chassis. An Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor runs at 2.6 GHz and can reach 3.40 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of 2133 MHz DDR4 memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive handle everyday workloads. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Sustained performance with 15 W processor

The 15 W i7-6600U maintains clocks during extended sessions without the throttling seen in higher-power chips. Intel HD Graphics drives the QHD panel for office apps and video playback. A 3-cell battery works with the 65 W worldwide AC adapter and 125 V US power cord. Intel Wireless 8260 provides 802.11 ac connectivity alongside Bluetooth 4.1.

Upgrade from non-touch or lower-resolution laptops

This unit replaces devices that lack touch input or sit at 1080p resolution. The 512 GB SSD and 16 GB DDR4 remove storage and memory bottlenecks common in older ultraportables. Buyers who need discrete graphics, a larger display or additional USB-C ports should consider other form factors.
