Business laptop for mobile professionals

This refurbished Dell Latitude 7420 delivers an 11th-generation Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD in a 14.0-inch chassis. The FHD touchscreen runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with Intel Iris Xe graphics. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. The unit weighs 2.7800 kg and ships with a power adapter.

Suits executives needing a light touchscreen

Buyers who want a larger display or discrete graphics should look elsewhere. The integrated graphics limit 3D workloads and the single 512GB drive offers no room for a second internal SSD. Thunderbolt 4 ports support external GPUs and docks, but the slim profile rules out user-upgradable memory. Organizations needing MIL-STD ruggedisation will find this model less reinforced than fully rugged alternatives.

14.0-inch FHD touchscreen decides fit

The 1920 x 1080 touch panel is the defining feature for presentation, annotation and tablet-style use. Non-touch configurations of the same series exist, so confirm the touchscreen requirement before ordering. The 16GB DDR4 capacity is soldered and cannot be expanded after purchase.

Questions about this item

Which operating system licence is already installed so I can start working immediately?

Windows 11 Professional is pre-installed and activated on the 512 GB SSD.

Will my existing Thunderbolt dock drive the 1920 x 1080 touchscreen and charge the laptop?

Both USB-C ports support Thunderbolt 4 and Power Delivery, so a compatible dock can run the display and supply power simultaneously.

How do I confirm the Intel Iris Xe graphics are driving the 14.0 inch FHD panel at native resolution?

Open Settings > System > Display and verify the resolution shows 1920 x 1080 with the recommended scaling.
