Dell M5Y0X 9-Cell 97Wh 11.1V Laptop Battery

Extended 9-Cell Power Source

This 97Wh lithium-ion battery delivers 11.1V of replacement power for Dell Latitude, Vostro and Inspiron notebooks. The nine-cell layout provides longer run time than standard six-cell units. It fits models such as the E6420, E6430, E6520, E6530, E5420, E5520 and Vostro 3460. The pack ships new with two screwdrivers and a manual for straightforward installation.

Upgrade From Standard Six-Cell Packs

Owners of compatible Dell laptops using the original 96W or lower-capacity batteries gain extra capacity with this 9-cell design. The jump is worth it when daily workloads keep you away from a wall outlet for extended periods. Users whose machines mostly stay docked or plugged in will see less benefit from the larger cell count.

Capacity and Headroom

At 97Wh the pack supports typical office tasks, web browsing and video playback for many hours on a single charge. Heavy loads such as sustained CPU rendering or discrete graphics work will drain it faster. The 11.1V output matches the original specification so the system manages power normally without surprises.
