Dell 305 W power supply for OptiPlex mini towers

This replacement unit delivers 305 W to the OptiPlex 760, 780 and 790 Mini Tower chassis. It restores factory power capacity for office workloads and legacy business applications. The supply fits the original mounting points and connectors without modification. Buyers who need higher wattage for discrete graphics upgrades cannot use this unit.

Sustained load behaviour

The 305 W rating supports continuous operation at the system's designed thermal limit. Voltage rails remain stable during extended business-hour workloads typical of these models. Protective circuits engage if the connected hardware attempts to draw beyond the rated capacity. Systems requiring supplemental PCIe power connectors for add-in cards are not supported.
