Precision 3510 workstation

The Dell Precision 3510 is a mobile workstation built for professional workloads. It runs a quad-core Intel Core i7-6820HQ processor at 2.70 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. The 15.6-inch FHD display shows 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input. Windows 10 comes pre-installed for immediate business use.

16 GB memory and 512 GB SSD

Sixteen gigabytes of RAM gives headroom for typical office suites, browser tabs and light CAD models. The 512 GB solid-state drive holds the operating system, applications and active project files with fast access speeds. Large media libraries or heavy simulation datasets will exceed the onboard capacity and require external storage.

Gray chassis with AC adaptor included

The laptop ships in a gray finish with its battery and AC adaptor in the box. Integrated graphics handle standard business visuals and multi-monitor desk setups through the available video outputs. The non-touch FHD screen keeps weight down and battery life stable for mobile professionals. No optical drive means a thinner profile and fewer moving parts.

Questions about this item

Will the 512GB SSD in this Precision 3510 work with a 2.5-inch drive I already own?

The unit ships with a 512GB SSD and no HDD; the service manual for the 3510 shows a single 2.5-inch bay, so an existing drive can be added if the caddy and cable are present.

How can I confirm the i7-6820HQ is running at its 2.70 GHz base speed after setup?

Open Task Manager in Windows 10, select the Performance tab, and verify the reported base clock matches 2.70 GHz while the quad-core processor idles.

Does the box contain only the laptop or also the battery and AC adaptor?

The package content lists the laptop, battery and AC adaptor, so no separate power purchase is required.
