Refurbished Precision 3510 Workstation

This refurbished Dell Precision 3510 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation running Windows 10. It uses an Intel Core i7-6820HQ processor at 2.70 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 480 GB SSD. The non-touch FHD panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution. Integrated graphics and internal speakers handle everyday media and conferencing. No webcam or optical drive is fitted.

Upgrade Path From Older Mobile Workstations

The i7-6820HQ and 16 GB memory replace dual-core mobile CPUs and 8 GB configurations common in earlier business notebooks. The jump is worth it when workloads need four physical cores and enough RAM for multiple virtual machines or large spreadsheets. Builders who need a second GPU for rendering or a larger SSD for local datasets will not find those options here.

Limits of Integrated Graphics and Fixed Storage

The integrated graphics share system memory and suit 2D CAD, office suites and video playback but not modern 3D rendering or GPU compute. The single 480 GB SSD cannot be expanded internally without removing the existing drive. Buyers who want more storage or discrete graphics must rely on external enclosures or cloud resources.
