Ready-to-install lamp module

The NEC M230XG replacement lamp arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, eliminating the need for manual lamp alignment or separate component handling. It is designed for direct installation into compatible NEC projectors, reducing downtime during maintenance. This module suits IT managers and AV technicians who need a straightforward swap without specialised tools.

OEM-grade NSHA 185W bulb

The lamp uses an NSHA-type bulb rated at 185W, sourced from original equipment manufacturers such as Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita. Each unit undergoes ISO9001 quality checks covering beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time. Buyers who require a user-replaceable bare bulb without the housing will not find that option here.

Dual-mode lamp life rating

In normal operation the lamp is rated for 5000 hours, while economy mode extends the rating to 6000 hours. This single specification determines how frequently replacements must be budgeted and scheduled. Environments that cannot accommodate periodic lamp changes or that demand a longer single-cycle lifespan should evaluate alternative projection technologies.
