Ready-to-install lamp module

This replacement lamp module ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing, so it fits straight into compatible NEC projectors without extra assembly. It uses a genuine Ushio NSHA 230W bulb rated for 4000 hours of operation. The unit is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards and passes checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

Consistent output over the rated life

The 230W NSHA bulb is designed to maintain stable brightness and colour balance across its 4000-hour rating rather than fading quickly after an initial peak. Each lamp undergoes ignition and voltage verification before dispatch, reducing the chance of early failure during extended presentations or classroom sessions. ISO9001 process controls help keep performance uniform from unit to unit.

Direct swap for NP16LP projectors

This module replaces the NEC NP16LP lamp assembly in supported models, restoring original brightness when the old lamp reaches end of life. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing lamp dims, flickers or triggers a replacement warning, and a new OEM-specification unit is preferred over bare-bulb alternatives. Buyers needing a different wattage, a bare bulb without housing, or a non-NEC projector should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 230 W NSHA bulb run hotter or louder than the original after hours of use?

The lamp draws 230 watts and is built to OEM ISO 9001 specs, so heat and fan noise match the original NEC design.

My NEC projector takes the NP16LP module — will this housing fit without extra brackets?

Yes, the NP-M300WJL is the direct NP16LP replacement and ships fully assembled for tool-free installation.

Will the 4 000-hour rating hold up if I keep my older NEC M-series projector in eco mode?

The lamp is rated for 4 000 hours at full power; eco mode typically extends life further.
