Genuine NEC NP-M300XSJL projector lamp

This genuine replacement lamp module fits NEC projectors requiring the NP17LP part. It arrives as a fully assembled 265 W UHP bulb inside its housing, so installation takes minutes. The unit is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time before shipping.

Rated lamp life in normal and economy modes

In normal operation the lamp is rated for 3,000 hours of use. Switching to economy mode extends the rating to 3,500 hours, reducing the frequency of replacements. The 265 W UHP bulb maintains consistent brightness throughout its rated lifespan when the projector’s cooling system functions correctly.

Thermal and power characteristics

The lamp draws 265 W during operation, so the projector’s built-in cooling must handle that heat load. Fan noise will reflect the projector’s own thermal management rather than the lamp itself. No separate power supply or external ballast is required beyond the projector’s standard circuitry.

Questions about this item

How hot and loud does the 265W UHP lamp run during all-day use?

The 265W UHP bulb generates significant heat; the projector's internal cooling fans will run at higher speeds to maintain safe temperatures, increasing audible noise during extended sessions.

Which NEC projectors accept the NP17LP module so I know mine will work?

This NP17LP module fits NEC projectors that list the NP-M300XSJL or NP17LP as the correct lamp; verify your model against that list before ordering.

Will the NP17LP module fit the same housing clips as the original lamp in my older NEC unit?

Yes, the NP17LP ships as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly designed to match the original form factor and clip positions for direct replacement.
