Compatible NEC projector lamp module

The DELL NEC NP-P401WJL-N2 is a new OEM replacement lamp module that includes a 270W UHP bulb pre-assembled in its housing. It matches NEC part number NP23LP and is built to ISO 9001 quality standards for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time. The unit arrives ready for direct installation without additional assembly.

Suits owners of compatible NEC projectors needing

This module fits projectors that accept the NP-P401WJL-N2 or NP23LP designation and delivers 2,500 hours in normal mode or 3,000 hours in economy mode. It is not for users whose projector requires a different lamp code, a different wattage, or a bare bulb without housing.

270W UHP lamp with 2,500 to 3,000 hour rated life

The single specification that decides fit is the 270W UHP lamp rated for 2,500 hours normal and 3,000 hours economy use. Verify that your projector lists NP-P401WJL-N2 or NP23LP as the correct replacement before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the 270W UHP bulb draw when the projector runs all day?

The lamp is rated at 270 watts, so the projector will draw that power continuously and produce corresponding heat while the lamp is on.

What projector models must I already own for the NP-P401WJL-N2 module to fit and ignite?

This module is built for NEC projectors that accept the NP23LP lamp; only those models will physically accept the housing and strike the bulb.

Will the 2500-hour normal or 3000-hour economy rating still hold if I keep using my older NEC projector?

The rated life applies when the lamp operates in a compatible NEC projector; an older unit that meets the NP23LP spec will achieve the same 2500 or 3000 hour figures.
