Replacement lamp for NEC projectors

This module fits the NEC NP-PX800XJD projector and ships as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly. It is intended for venues, classrooms or home users who need a direct replacement without rewiring or extra tools.

Check your projector model and lamp hours

Verify that your unit is the NP-PX800XJD before ordering, because the housing is keyed to that chassis. Confirm the existing lamp has reached the end of its rated life so the replacement restores full brightness.

Brightness and life under continuous use

The 400W UHP bulb delivers 2000 hours in normal mode and 3000 hours in economy mode when run for extended sessions. Sustained operation at normal power maintains stable output until the rated limit, while economy mode reduces thermal stress to extend the interval between changes.

Questions about this item

Does the NP22LP lamp ship with the bulb already mounted in the housing, or must I buy a separate housing?

The module arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing, so no extra housing purchase is needed.

Which NP22LP version should I pick — OEM direct from the bulb maker, NEC-branded OEM, alternate OEM or the compatible option?

All four versions meet ISO9001 quality checks; choose the NEC-branded OEM for exact brand match, the alternate OEM for lower cost, or the compatible for the most economical price.

What does the 400W rating mean for brightness and heat in my NEC projector?

The 400W UHP bulb delivers the projector's specified light output and runs within the original thermal design, giving 2000 hours in normal mode or 3000 hours in economy mode.
