Ready-to-install lamp module

The DELL NEC NP40J is a complete projector lamp module that pairs a new Philips UHP 200W bulb with its housing, so the unit arrives fully assembled and ready to fit into compatible NEC projectors. It targets users who need a direct replacement without sourcing a bare bulb and separate cage.

OEM-grade bulb and certified build

The bundled Philips UHP 200W bulb delivers the specified output, while the housing matches the original mechanical interface for correct alignment. Each unit is manufactured to ISO9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time before shipment.

Simple swap with long service intervals

Installation consists of removing the old module and sliding the new one into place, a process that typically requires no tools beyond a screwdriver for the projector's lamp door. The lamp is rated for 2500 hours in normal mode and 3500 hours in economy mode, reducing the frequency of future replacements.

Questions about this item

When will the 200W UHP bulb reach its 2,500-hour normal-life limit and need replacing?

The lamp is rated for 2,500 hours in normal mode or 3,500 hours in economy mode; actual replacement timing depends on which mode you run.

What component wears out first during continuous daily operation?

The Philips UHP 200W bulb itself is the consumable part; its rated life of 2,500 normal hours or 3,500 economy hours is the first limit you will hit.

How much heat and fan noise should I expect when the lamp runs all day?

A 200W UHP lamp generates significant heat, so the projector’s cooling fans will run continuously at their designed speed for the duration of use.
