Replacement Lamp for NEC NP54J Projectors

This 200W UHP lamp module fits NEC projectors that use the NP54J part number. It arrives as a complete housing and bulb assembly, so installation requires only a simple swap. The lamp is suited for classrooms, meeting rooms and home cinema setups that need a reliable new light source.

Upgrading from a Dim or Expired Lamp

Replace the unit when brightness drops noticeably or the projector warns that lamp hours are exhausted. The jump is worth it when the existing module has reached 2500 hours in normal mode or 3500 hours in economy mode and image quality no longer meets your needs.

Compatibility and Installation Checks

Verify that your projector lists NP54J or NP09LP as the correct lamp code before ordering. Ensure the projector is powered off and cooled down before removing the old module, and reset the lamp-hour counter in the menu after fitting the new assembly.

Questions about this item

Does the NP54J lamp module include the housing so it fits directly into my NEC projector?

Yes, the module is supplied as a fully assembled bulb and housing ready for direct installation.

What is the correct way to reset the lamp timer after fitting the 200W UHP lamp?

After installation, access the projector menu and reset the lamp hour counter; skipping this step will keep the old count and trigger premature warnings.

When should I plan to replace the lamp based on the 2,500 to 3,500 hour rating?

Expect roughly 2,500 hours in normal mode or up to 3,500 hours in economy mode before a replacement is needed.
