OEM Replacement Lamp with Osram 265W Bulb

The DELL NEC UM300W projector lamp is a new OEM replacement module that includes a genuine Osram UHP 265W bulb pre-assembled in its housing. It matches the NP17LP part number and is built to ISO9001 quality standards for use in compatible NEC projectors. Buyers who need a bare bulb without housing or a different wattage will not be served by this module.

Lamp Life 3000 Normal 3500 Economy Hours

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3000 hours of operation and in economy mode for 3500 hours, so actual runtime depends on the projector's selected power setting. The 265W UHP bulb defines the brightness and heat output that the projector's cooling system must handle. Users who require longer rated life or lower power consumption will not meet those needs with this lamp.

Pre-Assembled Housing For Straightforward

Because the bulb and housing arrive fully assembled, installation consists of removing the old module and inserting the new one without handling the bare lamp. Quality checks cover beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time to reduce the chance of early failure. Installers who prefer to replace only the bulb or who need a different connector layout will find this unit unsuitable.

Questions about this item

Which NEC UM300W lamp version should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Four versions are offered: the OEM lamp from the bulb manufacturer, the same lamp sold by NEC, an OEM-compatible lamp from another bulb maker, and a third-party compatible using genuine OEM parts. All are built to ISO 9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

What does the 265 W rating mean once the lamp is installed in my projector?

The lamp draws 265 W of power, delivering the brightness and colour output the projector was designed for while matching the original thermal and electrical specifications.

What interface or standard governs this lamp, and what does it cap in practice?

The lamp uses the projector's proprietary lamp connector and is rated for 3,000 hours in normal mode and 3,500 hours in economy mode, which are the practical limits before replacement is recommended.
