Replacement lamp for NEC UM330W

This module is a new projector lamp assembly built for the NEC UM330W. It ships as a complete housing with a 265W UHP bulb inside, so the unit can be fitted without separate bulb handling. The part matches the manufacturer reference NP17LP.

Suits owners of the UM330W needing a direct swap

Buyers who need a different wattage, a different connector or a lamp for another projector model should look elsewhere. The unit is not designed for portable pico projectors or for fixtures that require a bare bulb without housing.

Check the projector model

Confirm that your device is the NEC UM330W and that the existing lamp carries the NP17LP code. Verify the current hour counter to decide between normal and economy replacement timing. Ensure the projector housing accepts a full module rather than a bare burner.

Questions about this item

Does the NP17LP lamp module include the housing so I can install it straight into my NEC UM330W projector?

Yes, the lamp ships as a complete module with a new Osram 265W UHP bulb already seated in the housing, ready for direct installation in the UM330W.

Will the 265W UHP lamp run on the same power supply and cooling as my existing UM330W projector?

The lamp is built to the original 265W specification, so it draws the same power and fits the existing cooling design of the UM330W without modification.

How can I confirm the lamp is operating correctly after I fit it?

After installation, reset the lamp-hour counter; the projector should ignite cleanly, show stable brightness, and log up to 3,000 hours in normal mode or 3,500 hours in economy mode.
