Ready-to-install NEC projector lamp module

The NP-P451XJL module arrives as a complete UHP bulb and housing assembly, so it fits straight into compatible NEC projectors without extra tools. It is intended for facilities managers, educators or home-cinema owners who need a drop-in replacement that restores original brightness and colour balance immediately.

270 W UHP output with 2 500 to 3 000 hour rating

At full power the 270 W lamp delivers the rated lumen output for up to 2 500 hours, while economy mode extends usable life to 3 000 hours. Light output will gradually decline beyond those limits, and colour uniformity may shift, signalling that a second replacement should be planned.

Replaces ageing original lamps in NEC projectors

The module substitutes the factory lamp when brightness has faded or the projector warns of end-of-life. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing lamp has passed its rated hours or shows visible dimming; it is not suited for users seeking higher lumen output than the original specification or for projectors that require a different lamp code.

Questions about this item

Will the NP-P451XJL lamp fit my older NEC projector that currently uses the NP23LP module?

The NP-P451XJL is the NEC model number NP23LP, so it matches the original module specification for compatible NEC projectors.

How can I confirm the 270W UHP lamp is operating correctly after installation?

Reset the projector's lamp hour counter, then verify brightness and stable ignition; the lamp is rated for 2,500 hours in normal mode and 3,000 hours in economy mode.

Does the NP-P451XJL come as a complete housing with bulb, or must I buy the cage separately?

It arrives as a fully assembled lamp module with the 270W UHP bulb already installed in the housing, ready for direct installation.
