Ready-to-install NEC projector lamp

Rated life under normal and economy use

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3000 hours of operation. Switching to economy mode extends the rated life to 3500 hours, giving longer intervals between replacements during sustained daily use.

Simple housing swap with no tools required

The complete module slides into the projector and locks in place, so no separate bulb handling or alignment is needed. Buyers who need a bare bulb without the housing or who require a different wattage will not be served by this unit.

Questions about this item

How hot and loud does the 265 W UHP lamp run during all-day use?

The 265 W UHP bulb generates significant heat; the projector's internal fans will spin up to cool it, producing noticeable but typical projector noise.

Which NEC projectors accept the NP-UM330XJL-N3 module?

This lamp fits NEC projectors that use the NP17LP (NP-UM330XJL-N3) part number; verify your model's manual before ordering.

Will the NP-UM330XJL-N3 work in an older NEC projector that originally used a lower-wattage lamp?

No — the housing and 265 W rating are specific to the NP17LP series; installing it in a different chassis risks damage and voids the 90-day warranty.
