Ready-to-Install NEC Projector Lamp

This NP16LP replacement module combines a new 230W Ushio NSHA bulb with its housing so the assembly fits directly into compatible NEC projectors. The lamp is rated for 4000 hours of operation and meets ISO9001 manufacturing standards for beam performance and run-time reliability. It ships as a complete unit ready for immediate installation.

Verify Projector Model Before Ordering

Confirm that your NEC projector accepts the NP16LP or NP-M361XJL part number before purchase. The supplier notes multiple OEM and compatible versions exist for this lamp, so matching the exact module to your device ensures correct ignition voltage and connector alignment. No tools beyond standard projector access are required for the swap.

Replaces Worn NP16LP Modules

This lamp restores brightness when an existing NP16LP reaches the end of its 4000-hour rated life or shows dimming and ignition faults. The jump is worth it when image quality drops below usable levels for presentations or classroom use. Buyers needing higher lumen output or a different wattage should select the lamp specified for their projector model.

Questions about this item

Does the NP16LP lamp module ship with the housing already fitted, or must I buy the cage separately?

The NP16LP module arrives as a fully assembled 230 W NSHA bulb inside its housing, so no separate cage purchase is needed.

How do I choose between the three OEM versions and the compatible version listed for the NP-M361XJL?

All four versions meet ISO 9001 quality checks; the three OEM versions use bulbs from Philips, Osram, Ushio or equivalent, while the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party maker.

What does the 4 000-hour rating mean for daily classroom use?

At typical brightness settings the 230 W NSHA lamp is rated for 4 000 hours, which equates to roughly three years of eight-hour school days before a replacement is due.
