What this lamp fits

The DELL NP60J is a replacement projector lamp module built around a new Philips UHP 200W bulb. It ships as a fully assembled housing so it can be swapped directly into compatible NEC projectors without extra assembly. Buyers who need a different wattage or a bare bulb without housing should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The lamp delivers 200W UHP output with a rated life of 2,500 hours in normal mode and 3,500 hours in economy mode. Matching that wattage and hour rating to the projector's requirements is the single check that confirms compatibility.

Install and common issues

Installation consists of removing the old module and seating the new one; no tools beyond a screwdriver are typically required. The most frequent problems are forgetting to reset the projector's lamp-hour counter after the swap and leaving dust on the lens or housing vents, which can shorten the new lamp's life.
