Dell OptiPlex 390 desktop for home and student use

The Dell OptiPlex 390 is a compact desktop computer built for everyday home and student tasks. It ships with an Intel 2nd Gen i3-2100 dual-core processor running at 3.10GHz and 8GB of DDR3 memory. Windows 10 Home 64-bit comes pre-installed alongside a USB keyboard and mouse so the system is ready to use immediately.

Integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 limits display

Video output is handled by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 controller which provides VGA and HDMI ports. This graphics solution supports basic desktop work and video playback but cannot drive modern games or intensive 3D applications. The single 3.5-inch 250GB hard drive offers modest storage capacity and slower access speeds compared with solid-state alternatives.

Straightforward setup

The tower chassis uses standard 240-pin DDR3 DIMM slots for memory upgrades and includes a 16X DVD±RW optical drive for legacy media. Installation is simple: connect power, monitor and peripherals then power on. Buyers who need more storage or faster boot times will need to add a secondary drive or replace the existing hard drive themselves.
