Compact USFF desktop for office work

The Dell OptiPlex 5000 uses an ultra-small form factor chassis that fits on a crowded desk or behind a monitor. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and 16 GB of DDR4 memory ready for typical business applications. No display is included so you can choose your own screen. The 2.94 kg weight makes it easy to relocate between workstations.

Steady performance during long sessions

The Intel Core i5-12500T processor runs at a 2.00 GHz base frequency with Intel UHD Graphics 770 integrated graphics. This combination handles sustained office workloads, video calls and browser-heavy multitasking without thermal throttling in the small chassis. The 256 GB SSD keeps boot times and file access consistent throughout the day.

Simple setup with limited internal expansion

The USFF design means most components are not user-replaceable so plan your memory and storage needs before purchase. External ports handle peripherals and additional displays while the integrated graphics drive up to three screens. Buyers who want more storage or a discrete graphics card should choose a larger form factor.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Intel Core i5-12500T draw and how loud is the fan under all-day load?

The 2.00 GHz Intel Core i5-12500T in the 2.94 kg USFF chassis runs cool enough that fan noise stays low during extended work sessions.

Does the 16 GB of DDR4 memory and 256 GB SSD cover everything I need to start working?

The system ships with 16 GB of DDR4 and a 256 GB SSD installed, so only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are required to begin.

Can I keep using my older VGA-only monitor with the Intel UHD Graphics 770?

The Intel UHD Graphics 770 outputs via modern digital ports, so a VGA monitor would need an active adapter to connect.
