Compact business micro desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 5060 Micro is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7 8700T six-core processor running at 2.40 GHz with 12 MB L3 cache and a 35 W TDP. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD, while integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives two DisplayPort outputs. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed and activated, and the package includes only the PC and an OEM AC adapter.

Check display and peripheral needs

This unit has no HDMI, VGA or DVI ports, so monitors must connect via DisplayPort or through an active adapter. A single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port sits on the front alongside five USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports. Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi are integrated, but no keyboard, mouse or speakers are supplied. The micro chassis uses air cooling and accepts only low-profile internal expansion, so verify that any add-in cards fit the form factor.

Suits office and home productivity.

Buyers needing a compact, quiet machine for general business applications, web browsing and multi-monitor office setups will find the 6-core CPU and fast NVMe storage responsive. The integrated graphics and 35 W processor limit 3D performance, so the system is unsuitable for gaming, CAD rendering or video editing that demand a discrete graphics card. Users requiring legacy video outputs or internal full-height expansion slots should consider a larger form factor.
