Compact business micro PC

The DELL OptiPlex 5070 Micro desktop PC i7 9700T 2.0 GHz 32GB DDR4 2TB NVMe is a Mini PC built for business environments. An 8-core 9700T processor running at 2.0 GHz with 12 MB L3 cache drives the system. 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive provide capacity and speed. Windows 11 Pro is installed.

Connector layout and daily use

Two DisplayPort outputs and a single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port handle modern displays and peripherals. Three additional USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports give plenty of bandwidth for accessories. Gigabit Ethernet at 10/100/1000 Mbps connects to wired networks. No VGA, DVI or HDMI ports are present, so older monitors require an adapter. An OEM AC adapter is included.

Upgrade context and fit

This unit replaces an older office desktop that lacks NVMe storage or sufficient USB bandwidth for current docks. The jump is worth it when a small footprint, 8-core throughput and 32 GB of DDR4 are needed for multitasking workloads. Buyers who need a discrete graphics card, internal expansion slots or integrated Wi-Fi should look elsewhere.
