DELL OptiPlex 7010 MT i5-3470 3.2GHz 8GB DDR3 500GB HDD DVD-RW WiFi Win 10 Pro desktop PC

Ready for office and home use

The Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower arrives as a new desktop computer with a 3rd Gen Intel Quad-Core i5-3470 processor at 3.20 GHz and 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. A 500 GB hard drive and 16X DVD±RW drive provide local storage and optical media support. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 2500 handles everyday display output. Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi connect the system to the network.

Upgrade from older dual-core desktops

This unit replaces aging dual-core machines that struggle with modern multitasking and 64-bit applications. The four threads and 3.60 GHz Turbo Boost let the system keep several business programs open without stalling. The jump is worth it when your current PC cannot run Windows 10 smoothly or when 4 GB of memory forces constant swapping. Buyers who need more than 500 GB of internal storage or dedicated graphics for creative work should look elsewhere.

Straightforward mini-tower access

The Mini-Tower case opens with a latch so the 240-pin DDR3 slots and 3.5-inch drive bays are reachable without tools. Memory can be expanded to 16 GB or 32 GB using compatible DDR3 modules. The proprietary front-panel connectors and limited low-profile expansion slots are the usual friction points during upgrades. Ensure any added card fits the low-profile form factor and that the power supply has the required connectors.
