OptiPlex 7020 MFF Plus i7-14700K

This compact desktop pairs a 20-core Intel Core i7-14700K with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 256 GB NVMe drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and a keyboard plus mouse are included. The 7.2 x 7 x 1.4 inch chassis weighs 2.4 lb and uses Intel UHD Graphics 770 to drive up to three displays via DisplayPort.

Suited for office multitasking

The processor reaches 5.6 GHz turbo for responsive single-thread work, while Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 handle modern wireless peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port provide wired speed. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or more internal storage bays should consider other form factors.

256 GB NVMe capacity

The single M.2 slot holds a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD, which sets the total fast storage available unless an external drive is added. This capacity fits a standard business image and core applications, but large media libraries or multiple virtual machines will require supplementary storage. The 32 GB DDR5 configuration is fixed at 4800 MHz.

Questions about this item

What DisplayPort standard do the three video outputs use, and what resolution limit does that impose?

The three DisplayPort outputs are driven by Intel UHD Graphics 770, which supports DisplayPort 1.4a and can drive up to three 4K displays at 60 Hz.

What are the exact dimensions and weight of the MFF Plus chassis?

The unit measures 7.2 x 7 x 1.4 inches and weighs 2.4 lb, so it fits on a VESA mount or a small desk shelf.

How is the DDR5 memory installed, and what mistake should be avoided?

The 32 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz memory comes factory-installed in the two SO-DIMM slots; do not force modules in at an angle — press straight down until the clips click.
