Ultra-compact business desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro fits into the smallest desk footprint while delivering a six-core Intel Core i7 8700T processor running at 2.4 GHz. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe drive, making it ready for office workloads straight out of the box. The 35 W CPU and 65 W power supply keep energy draw low for fleets that run all day.

Build integration

Two DisplayPort outputs drive modern monitors without adapters, while a single USB Type-C port and five USB 3.0 ports handle peripherals and docks. Gigabit Ethernet and internal 802.11ac Wi-Fi give flexible network options in tight wiring closets. The micro chassis uses air cooling and needs only the included AC adapter, freeing rack or shelf space that a tower would occupy.

Ideal for standard office tasks

This unit suits workers who need reliable document, browser and video-conference performance in a minimal footprint. Buyers who require discrete graphics, additional internal drive bays or legacy VGA and DVI connections should look at a larger form factor. The fixed 8 GB of memory and single NVMe slot also limit future expansion for memory-intensive workflows.

Questions about this item

Will the 35 W TDP of the i7 8700T throttle during long compiles?

The 35 W TDP is managed by the built-in air cooling in the Micro chassis; sustained loads stay within that envelope.

How loud and hot does the 65 W power supply get after hours of use?

The 65 W adapter and internal fan run quietly; the small form factor dissipates heat without becoming uncomfortably warm.

Which monitor cables do I need since there is no HDMI or VGA?

Two DisplayPort outputs are provided; use DisplayPort cables or DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapters for your displays.
