Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro i7-8700T Business Desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro is a compact business desktop powered by a 6-core Intel Core i7-8700T processor running at 2.40 GHz. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and fits into tight spaces such as VESA mounts or small office desks. The system targets office workers, front-desk staff and home users who need a quiet, space-saving PC for daily productivity tasks.

8 GB DDR4 memory and 1 TB NVMe SSD capacity

Eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory handles web browsing, document editing and light multitasking without paging. The 1 TB NVMe SSD provides fast boot times and ample room for local files, though memory-intensive workloads such as virtualisation or large datasets will exceed the installed RAM. Storage expansion is limited to the single M.2 slot already occupied by the boot drive.

Intel UHD Graphics 630 with dual DisplayPort output

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives two DisplayPort monitors at up to 4K resolution for typical office applications. The system lacks HDMI, VGA and DVI ports, so older displays require active adapters. Buyers needing discrete GPU performance for CAD, video editing or gaming should choose a different form factor.

Questions about this item

Will the 65 W power supply run the i7-8700T at its 35 W TDP without throttling?

The 65 W adapter delivers almost double the 35 W processor TDP, so the six-core CPU can sustain its 2.4 GHz base clock under load.

How can I verify the Intel UHD 630 graphics are active after installing Windows 10 Pro?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters, and confirm Intel UHD Graphics 630 appears with a working driver and no error code.

Does the box contain a DisplayPort cable for the two DisplayPort outputs, or must I buy one separately?

The package includes only the Micro desktop and the matching AC adapter; a DisplayPort cable for the dual DisplayPort ports is not supplied.
