OptiPlex 7060 Micro for business users

Micro form factor and integrated graphics

The micro chassis saves desk space and can be mounted behind a monitor or tucked into tight workstations. Intel UHD Graphics drives standard display outputs for dual-monitor setups, while the 16 GB DDR4 memory and 1 TB NVME storage keep everyday workloads responsive.

Questions about this item

Does the 1TB NVME drive use a PCIe interface, and what throughput does that cap at in practice?

The 1TB NVME drive connects via PCIe, limiting sequential speeds to the PCIe generation supported by the Intel Core i7-8700T platform.

What physical mounting hardware does the Micro chassis require for a VESA bracket?

The OptiPlex 7060 Micro uses Dell's standard Micro VESA mount kit that screws into the four threaded holes on the bottom of the chassis.

How is Windows 10 Pro installed on the 1TB NVME, and which BIOS step is often missed?

Windows 10 Pro comes pre-loaded on the NVME; the step often missed is setting the boot mode to UEFI and disabling legacy CSM in BIOS before first boot.
