Ready-to-work desktop with 24" monitor

This Dell OptiPlex 7060 small-form-factor system arrives with a 24-inch 1920 x 1080 LED display, USB keyboard and mouse so it is operational straight from the box. The 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor runs at 3.20 GHz with a turbo up to 4.80 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB SSD provide the operating system and data space.

Fits a standard office desk and existing network

The SFF chassis occupies minimal surface area and includes a DVD-ROM drive, Gigabit Ethernet and a 5 GHz-capable USB wireless dongle for flexible connectivity. Two DisplayPort outputs on the rear panel support additional screens without an add-in card. Two low-profile PCIe slots remain open for future expansion such as extra USB ports or a discrete graphics card.

Suits general business and home-office users

Buyers who need a complete, pre-configured Windows 10 Pro workstation with plenty of solid-state storage will find this bundle convenient. It is not intended for buyers who require a high-performance discrete GPU for 3D rendering or gaming, nor for those who need more than 16 GB of memory or additional internal drive bays beyond the existing M.2 and 2.5-inch slots.

Questions about this item

Will the Intel UHD Graphics become the bottleneck during sustained workloads?

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory and has no dedicated VRAM, so extended rendering or multi-display tasks will hit graphics limits before the CPU.

How much heat and fan noise should I expect when the i7-8700 runs at 4.80 GHz all day?

The SFF chassis uses a compact cooler; sustained turbo speeds will raise internal temperatures and cause the fan to spin audibly higher than at idle.

Does the 24-inch FHD monitor connect through the desktop's DisplayPort outputs?

Yes, the system provides two DisplayPorts and the bundled 24-inch 1920 x 1080 monitor uses one of them for video.
