Ready-to-use desktop for office tasks

This Dell OptiPlex 7060 small-form-factor PC arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed and a USB keyboard and mouse in the box. An 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor handles everyday business applications, while 8 GB of DDR4 memory keeps multiple programs responsive. A 128 GB solid-state drive provides fast boot and application loading. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives up to two displays through the onboard DisplayPort outputs.

Suited to general business users.

The system fits standard office environments that need a compact, quiet machine for document work, web apps and video calls. The included USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle adds wireless connectivity without internal upgrades. Buyers who need more than 8 GB of memory, larger local storage, or a discrete graphics card for rendering or CAD should consider a different configuration.

128 GB SSD capacity determines storage headroom

The 2.5-inch 128 GB solid-state drive is the primary limiting factor for users with large local file libraries. Windows 11 Pro and essential applications will fit comfortably, but extensive media collections, databases or virtual-machine images will require external or cloud storage. The SFF chassis does include two PCIe card slots for future expansion cards if additional I/O or specialised adapters are needed.

Questions about this item

Does the 65 W i7-8700 throttle under sustained all-core load in the SFF chassis?

The 65 W Intel Core i7-8700 is the highest-power CPU this small form factor was designed for, so prolonged heavy workloads will hit the thermal ceiling first.

How loud does the system get when the CPU runs at 4.60 GHz all day?

The SFF case uses a single blower-style fan that spins up noticeably when the i7-8700 sustains turbo, producing an audible but not extreme office hum.

What display cable do I need since no monitor is included?

The rear panel provides two DisplayPort outputs, so a DisplayPort cable or a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter is required to connect your own screen.
