Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower i5-2400

This new Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower desktop is built around an Intel Core i5-2400 processor running at 3.10 GHz. It comes with 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a 1 TB 2.5-inch SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed with a Certificate of Authenticity. A DVD±RW drive, USB keyboard and USB mouse are included.

Suitable for office tasks, study and legacy software

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 and maximum supported memory of 16 GB limit this system to basic productivity and older applications. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, more than 16 GB of RAM or modern gaming capability should consider a different platform. The four memory slots are fully populated, so no further memory upgrades are possible.

16 GB DDR3 memory limit is fixed

The motherboard supports a maximum of 16 GB across four DIMM 240-pin slots, all of which are already occupied by 4 GB modules. This cap cannot be exceeded, so the installed 16 GB DDR3 configuration is the final memory capacity for this unit.
