Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower Desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower desktop computer is built for everyday home and office tasks. It runs on an Intel Quad-Core i5-2400 processor with 8 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 1 TB 2.5-inch SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed with a USB keyboard and mouse included.

Check your DDR3 memory and peripheral needs

The system uses 240-pin DDR3 DIMM modules and supports up to 16 GB total capacity. Verify that any added memory matches this specification. Connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet and a USB WiFi adapter. Ensure your display accepts the available video outputs from the integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000.

Replaces older hard-drive desktops for faster

The 1 TB solid-state drive upgrades boot and load times compared to mechanical drives. The jump is worth it for users moving from a system with a traditional hard disk who need snappier application launches. Buyers who require dedicated graphics performance or newer processor architectures should consider other platforms.
