Compact business desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 790 SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built for everyday office tasks. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse so it is ready to use immediately. This configuration suits students, home-office workers or anyone needing a reliable secondary PC for light productivity.

Quad-core processor with turbo up to 3.30GHz

The system uses an Intel quad-core i5 running at a base frequency of 2.9GHz and reaching 3.30GHz under load. This single figure determines whether the machine can handle your typical multitasking workload. Buyers who need more compute performance for video editing, modern gaming or heavy compilation should look elsewhere.

Low-power integrated graphics and 500GB hard drive

Intel HD Graphics 2000 draws minimal power and runs silently because the SFF chassis relies on a small internal fan. The 3.5-inch 500GB SATA hard drive adds modest mechanical noise during seeks. Together they keep heat output low enough for the compact case without requiring extra cooling.
